Quick Monterey Trip

Last minute we decided to drive to Monterey for Ryan's friends Matt and Sara's wedding. His best friend Jeremy and his wife Heather were there too! We walked around cannery row and the old fishermans wharf...It was a fun quick trip!

The Big Island of Hawaii

So we were planning on going to Cabo with our friends since January when we found out a hurricane was going to hit a few days before we were supposed to leave! So after many annoying phone calls (Thanks Ryan!) and last minute planning by me, we ended up going to Hawaii! Neither of us had been to the Big Island so we thought we would try it out. We planned snorkeling, golfing/massage, waterfalls, a helicopter ride to the volcano and zip lining...oh and relaxing at the pool too of course! We thought we should go big or go home! We were able to travel all around the Island and see the Hawaii most people don't even know about...Did you know the Big Island has 11 climates? We saw the beach, the desert, the countryside, the volcanos, the rain forest and drove by Mauna Kea (The volcano that gets snow)! It was an awesome adventure and we had a blast! We would recommend the Big Island if you are the adventurous type!

Weekend with the Sherrill Fam

Ryan's friend Jake visited from Phoenix with his wife Camille and daughter Kennedy. We had a great fun filled weekend relaxing, going to the beach and a Dodgers game, getting our nails done while the guys golfed and definately eating out a lot! We had a lot of awesome food all within walking distance of our condo :) We always have fun with the Sherrills!

The guys went golfing at Trump International in Palos Verdes. The girls got their nails done and took naps...Tough life!

Last minuite we got tickets for the Dodger game friday night and we headed to LA! We got Dodger Dogs and were excited for the fireworks at the end. We ended up leaving early cause the game seemed like it would never end! We later found out the the game went into the 13th inning! We were glad we left and missed the traffic!

No Doubt Concert

We just saw No Doubt with Paramore opening for them. It was a great concert and tons of fun!!The next concert we go to we will definately pay more to be closer ;)

Peaches

So this is Peaches, she is the cute little Chihuahua I am getting for my Mom! It all started when my friend Carla found a strey dog and wanted me to take her in, I cant have dogs at my place so I mentioned it to my mom and she was planning on taking her in, but Carla's daughter got attached to the dog and didnt want to give her up. My Mom seemed really bummed and so I was determined to find her an even better dog! I was looking online on Craigslist and found the SOAR website (Stray & Orphaned Animal Rescue) and saw Peaches. She seemed like the perfect dog for my mom, housetrained, great with kids and loves to cuddle with you on the couch! So as part of the adoption process you have to meet with the dog first to make sure she fits with you. She jumped in my arms and let me hold and pet her the whole time, and even with tons of people and other dogs around she was well behaved! So next week when I visit my family in Sacramento I will be bringing her on the plane with me to her new home. I know all the grandkids and my Mom will love sweet little Peaches!

Girls Night Out!

When I visited my family in Sacramento we decided to do a girls night out. We all got our nails done and then went to dinner. It was definately relaxing and fun to hang out with the sistas and my mom!

Family teeth cleaning time!!

My sister Melanie and her family came down to visit and I decided to clean their teeth! Kaylee loved the bubblegum toothpaste! Yum! It was tough to do sealants on Mykell cause of her crazy tongue, but with the help of my assistant (Melanie) we got them done!
